Devil’s DVD Disappointment: Transformers: Dark of the Moon
To say the hype and expectations for the third movie in the Transformers movie series were greater than the previous installment would be an understatement. After disappointing reactions from Revenge of the Fallen, even Michael Bay himself acknowledged that he was going to do what he can to make Dark of the Moon superior to its predecessor.

When the first Transformers hit I found myself having difficulty being objective. Giant freaking robots were on the movie screen, fighting, flying, and falling all over. Then the second film rolled into theaters, but for some reason I was able to resist its “charms” this time around. Now the third film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is out and I find myself somewhere between the first and second film, or, in other words, between a moon rock and a hard place. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (Lonely Devil)
After waiting years for my childhood loves of Transformers and G.I. Joe to come to the silver-screen, I finally got to fulfill that want with G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. Getting a 2nd Transformer film was icing on that cake as well.
With the Chicago Comic-Con in town, I was torn on when I was going to see Snake Eyes come to life and battle Storm Shadow for ninja supremacy. I was able to sneak a couple hours in for a matinee late Sunday morning and watch the characters I grew up with on the big screen.
Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen
As I sat with Mike & Veer Wednesday night after seeing Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen, I realized while yes it is easy to point out all the flaws of this movie, you should just take it as the summer action flick it’s supposed to be. Doing so will allow your inner teenage self to enjoy those big butt-kicking, transforming robots we grew up with and loved.
